Abstract This paper is an outline of the business case project for Robo Airline. The paper shows the importance of a business case before undertaking any project worth some future returns. It looks at the Wellington town market gap and proposes a valid business case. Introduction and Background A business case is an assessment of a prospective market opportunity, usually at the market level. A market opportunity is a lucrative, a lasting and quite a sizeable problem. A business case can be simply defined as an examination that is prepared at the product stage, and that leads to a go decision, or a no go decision, on whether a potential firm can lay down plans to venture into the market potential and hence solve the market problem(Brown, L. 2000). The company or the firm attempts to solve the market problem by providing a suitable product, capable to match the industry competition. The business case serves to simplify the understanding of investors.
